Please, NEVER rent a car at GOLDCAR. We paid for the rental car and for the damage excess refund insurance with Do You Spain. When we arrived at the Goldcar office at Barcelona airport, they forced us to pay another 22.39 euro /day for a second insurance !!! We refused that, as written in the terms of condition 'if you prefer not to take the Goldcar's excess waiver, a deposit of 1100.00 euro will be blocked from your credit card. The man af the rental office refused to give us the key of the car and tol dus to leave the office without a car. Unacceptable, illegal practices. After 20 phonecalls and as many emails, nothing has been paid back !!!!!!!!! This has been going on since june 2025.
