Scam keep away from Sixt

Tons of bad review and mine is another one. I wonder how this company can still function and make business. I rented car in Gdansk airport Poland from Sixt and they charged me for not existing damages for amount of 1683 Euro after return. I had full insurance, but please people never leave until you do technical inspection of the car with them, right after return. If they refuse call the local police and don't leave and do not sign any car return paper until car inspection is done. Do your own movies and pics before and after rental. In my case they even charged me for already existing damage that was mentioned on rental agreement. This is scam company and they have many mad dogs who run for them. First in the airport they try to sell expensive insurance as they have bonus from such sale. Then they get another bonus paid for each damage they discover. Take always full insurance: that covers windows, tires, interior and car chassis as they go for those parts claiming that you made damage and knowing that basic insurance doesn't cover it. Talking to them and writing their customer service doesn't make sense as they deny all and in some cases don't even answer. The only solution is to drug them through the court, but it really works and don't be afraid to do so. If you have your photos and pics with date and time on it, their pathetic arguments have no value in court. The best is also if you have witness for technical inspection and if you don't record whole conversation. Additionally you can charge them for cost of your lawyer and burden you have + full reimbursement of the money they have stolen from your credit card. And the most important: block right away your credit card after rental, so they can't take any money from it.
Good luck and I'll never ever again rent car from any of those scam companies, as they all do it.
