Avoid them!
Review over GoldcarHad a horrible experience with Goldcar which almost ruined my holiday. First you get the mandatory push for complete insurance coverage with plain threats of added charges when you hand in your car if you don't take it. I was basically being extorted. In fact they first didn't even want to give the keys because I didn't want their complete insurance. The staff was rude and refused to give details about the contract. My questions about the damage to the car were shrugged off. I wasn't alone, all the customers seemed to be arguing at the car pickup desk. The car was ok but full of scratches. Just search the internet for Goldcar reviews and you'll see why you must avoid this company. It's frankly astonishing that they're allowed to operate. They're bandits.
