SCAM!
Rented a car via DoYouSpain (€181.73 paid) and was sent to Click Rent in Tenerife. There we had to pay an extra €303 fuel deposit, supposedly fully refundable. We returned the car with a full tank and clean — yet not a single euro was refunded.
In the small print it mentions “full-empty / empty-empty”, but this was NOT explained to us at pickup. We were clearly misled.
End result: €484.73 lost. Feels like a tourist trap and borderline scam. Avoid.
